Courtney N. Anauo, Esq.
Courtney N. Anauo is an attorney with a comprehensive focus on real estate law, handling commercial and residential real estate, title issues, and real estate litigation. With a keen interest in all facets of real estate transactions, Ms. Anauo works closely with her clients to navigate the complexities of property acquisitions, title clearances, and dispute resolutions. She brings a unique blend of expertise to the firm, combining her experience in residential real estate, family law, and corporate transactions to offer a well-rounded approach to real estate law.
Before transitioning into her legal career, Ms. Anauo worked for a National Title Underwriter, which laid the groundwork for her future in real estate law. She began her legal career in residential real estate, then expanded her practice into family law before ultimately returning to real estate law—this time focusing on commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Her diverse career path has given her valuable insights into how different areas of law intersect, allowing her to offer clients a holistic approach to their real estate and business needs. Ms. Anauo has consistently aimed to integrate her broad range of legal experience into her current focus on real estate law.
For Ms. Anauo, practicing law is about more than just providing legal services—it’s about offering clients peace of mind and clear solutions. She thrives on helping her clients, ensuring they walk away feeling confident and better off for having chosen her to represent them. This dedication to service is at the heart of her practice, driving her to always go the extra mile for her clients.
Ms. Anauo’s favorite part of her job is solving the “puzzle” of title insurance, where she finds the greatest satisfaction in finding creative solutions to title challenges that others might overlook. For her, the ability to untangle complex title issues and close deals with clarity and precision is the most rewarding aspect of her career.
Ms. Anauo graduated with honors from Siena College in 2010, where she was recognized as an Honors Fellow. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2013, where she further honed her legal skills. She is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
